Design Package

We listen to your needs. Your design package will be delivered to you in one week. This includes elevations, plans, and detailed material specifications for your project. Let us know if we nailed your brief, otherwise, we will make up to two rounds of revisions until we have final approval and sign off from you.

Material Purchase

Our Purchasing Manager will purchase all of the materials. Let’s arrange a site check together with your designer and installer to get your kitchen/bath into production. ​

Prior to manufacturing, we will arrange a site check to confirm all design measurements and specifications. Structural and spatial details will be confirmed and checked by our recommended installers. Please have your appliance specifications finalized at this stage.​​

Our installers will provide new plans with any slight changes made, if necessary, ready for your approval. You'll never be in the dark about your project since we'll keep you informed every step of the way. Commonly Asked Questions

How much does construction cost?

Construction costs vary widely depending on the size of your kitchen or bathroom. We work with you on getting the best pricing for your budget. Powder rooms can be built for as low as $10k or lower and master bathrooms for over $20k (construction cost and material cost). We offer competitive pricing and price matching in the Greater Seattle Area.

Why is construction work so expensive?

Good contractors are in extremely high demand in the Greater Seattle Area. Technology IPOs have brought in many new homeowners who are interested in renovating older homes that they purchase. As a result, the few good contractors that are able to service the demand of Seattle Style Renovation at high quality. At United, we make life easy for our contractors so we can get you lower prices

What if I can find a lower price for construction?

Sounds great! We would love to work with you in matching the price they quoted you. We do offer our high-end materials as standard for all of our remodels. If you were quoted with more affordable materials, we will match the quote for installation to ensure an all-in-one, renovation experience.

I already have a contractor, can we still work together?

Yes, under three conditions – you haven’t started work yet, we are able to provide materials and installation for the specific trade. In that case, we would love to meet your contractor and if the experience goes well, work with them on future customer projects.

Are your contractors licensed & insured?

Yes, every contractor we work with is licensed, insured, and bonded. Most of them have over 10 years of experience in high-end residential remodeling. United Signature is also a licensed general contractor and we have our own insurance policy that makes sure you’re protected, no matter what.

Who do I talk to if problems come up during construction?

United Signature has your back through the entire home renovation experience from design to materials purchasing, all the way through to completion of construction. You are always welcome to speak with your Project Manager as a “source of truth” and escalation point in case anything goes wrong or you have any questions.

How are the materials ordered & delivered?

After you choose your design and desired finishes, United Signature orders everything for you and stores it at our warehouse. We carefully inspect materials upon arrival to ensure nothing was damaged, and if so we re-order and attempt to return them at no cost to you. When construction is ready to start we deliver everything to your home as it is needed by the contractor. It’s nice not to have new tubs, sinks, vanities, and tile cluttering up your garage!

How does payment work?

After the contract is signed, we take a 50% deposit which covers your design and allows us to kick off your project with ordering materials. Once construction has started, you will be billed after each trade has been completed and verified. This will continue to completion of the entire project. Financing will be offered at the beginning of the consultation.

What if I have some design work already complete, or fixtures already picked out?

Design is at the core of our service with everything else flowing from it — materials selection and purchasing, architecture, permitting, and construction. We’re always excited to incorporate your feedback, ideas, and pre-existing preferences (Pinterest boards!) and we work off of your design work.

Can I just purchase your design services?

Yes, we do offer our design services alone. We want to make sure you end up with an incredible result and if you already have a contractor and they are open to working with us, we would be happy to do that.
