If you hold a Washington real estate license, the fee is paid to your brokerage firm, and you’re paid through them, as Washington law requires (RCW 18.85.361(19)); your firm decides how it is shared with you. Vendors and past clients without a license are paid directly. That’s it: no project management, no site visits, no chasing updates.
